INVERCARGILL, April 19. John’s Mistake, the steeplechasing “find” of the season in Southland, scored his fifth successive win and his fourth in four starts over country when he easily won the W. T. Hazlett Memorial Steeplechase, feature event at the Southland Racing Club’s autumn meeting at Invercargill on Saturday. The racing was held in fine weather.
