CAPITAL BOMBED

Claim By Somalis (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MOGADISHU (Somali), March 31. Four Ethiopian planes bombed the Somali northern region capital of Hargeisa today in two waves, according to a Somali Government source. The source said the Ethiopians also launched a mass attack on the border post of Tugwajalah today. Somalis were trying to push the Ethiopian troops back. The source said the four planes made their first sortie at 6.45 a.m. and returned with two more at 7.30 a.m. Two of the planes were heavy bombers. Hargeisa is near the central sector of the Ethiopian-Somali border, the scene of recent clashes between ground forces. Fighting continued there yesterday in spite of a ceasefire agreement reached between delegations of the two countries in Khartoum yesterday. The two sides have been in dispute over their 900-mile common border for several years.
