Return To Ballet
The Australian ballerina, Miss Elaine Flfield (above) has returned to Sydney after five year* in New Guinea. She wants to continue ballet, according to the New Zealand Press Association. Miss Fifield was considered a likely successor to Dame Margot Fonteyn as prima ballerina assoluta of the Royal Ballet when she made a sudden decision to leave the company in 1957 to live in Australia. She danced in New Zealand as guest artist with the Borovansky Ballet in 1958.
