PICTORIAL ENVELOPES
Publicity Group’s Plans The South Island Publicity Association has had a sample batch printed of coloured pictorial envelopes intended to publicise the attractions of the South Island overseas.
The envelope bears a pio ture taken at Milford, a glacier scene and a kea on the front, with the words, “See the Southi Island of New Zealand, gem of the Pacific.” Scenes of Westland, a map of the South. Island, a snowman, and the sun illustrate the back with, the slogan, “Beautiful in sum-mer-exhilarating in winter.” A luggage sticker shows Mitre Peak with the words “So good to see,” all in bright, colours in which red and yel-, low predominate. A mail wrapper or sticker bears the: same illustration in black and white with a red border.
