TRIAL FOR FIJI TOUR
Nathan, Walsh Lead Teams (N.Z. tress Association) AUCKLAND, March 24. A charity match between two strong Maori Rugby teams will be a feature of the national celebrations of the 28th Maori Battalion at Gisborne on Saturday. The match will be regarded as an unofficial trial for the New Zealand Maori team which will tour Fiji this year. Leading the two teams will be the All Blacks, P. T. Walsh and W. J. Nathan. They are: Walsh's Team.—E. H. Whatarau .Bay of Plenty); P. Myers (Wellington), P. T. Walsh (Counties), S. Rolleston (Wellington); S. Rutene (Poverty Bay), M. Harvey (Auckland); R. Coffin (King Country); S. Jackson (Wellington); F. Jackson (East Coast). A. Jennings (Bay of Plenty). J. Porima (Waikato), R. Hurt (Hawke’s Bay); R. Wirepa (Wellington), W. Wordley (King Country), W. Nepia (Auckland).

Roller Skating.—The Australia and New Zealand amateur roller skating championships will be held at Adelaide, starting on September 19 and finishing on September 25. according to advice received by the New Zealand Roller Skating Associations publicity officer (Mr C. E. Colwijl). —(P.A.)
