OTAGO WOOL CHEQUE
Growers To Get £2.lm (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 19. Otago woolgrowers will receive £2,144,546 for wool sold at the Dunedin sale on March 9. Average price per lb for the wool was 59.9 d, and the 25,712 bales sold at an average price of £B3 8s 2d. Average price per lb at the sale this month was slightly higher than the 59.66 d per lb average at the double sale in January, but was below the November sale figure of 61.29 d. At the double sale in Feb-ruary-March last year the average price per lb was 44.43 d.
