“Cold” Englishmen
Sir, —When the French keep picking on the English one feels that they are picking on us, also, and the reaction is to rise in righteous indignation. One would not mind if we were sure they knew what they are talking about, or if their record, in any field whatsoever, is as good as ours. We do not like to be dictated to about the Common Market, and bad relationships, and most certainly about the bomb—and if Madame Biar-deau-Beraud is not more discreet we shall send another Rugby team to France.— Yours, etc., KIWI.
