Milk Consumption
Milk and cream consumption in New Zealand showed a slight but definite decline for 1962-63, says the latest issue of “Town Milk.” The magazine, the journal of the New Zealand Milk Board, quotes figures taken from a survey of selected urban areas. Milk consumption in these areas dropped from 31.844 gallons a head in 1961-62 to 31.584 gallons in 1962-63, and cream consumption from 5.221 gallons to 5.164 gallons.— (P.A.)
