Victory Memorial School Board
The past year was one of progress and great activity in the life of the school, said the Rev. K O. Bathurst, chairman of the St Matthew’s Victory Memorial School Board at the annual meeting of the board.
Mr Bathurst said that the opening roll for 1964 was 127, which was higher than it had been at the beginning of a school year for a long period. The board elected was:— chairman, the Rev. K. O. Bathurst; vestry nominees, Messrs R. D. Lange, I. C. Miles, W. J. A. Price; diocesan nominees, Messrs F. H. Feaver, W. V. Smith; parents’
representatives, Messrs J. E. Dawber (P.T.A.), K. a. W. Doell, H. J. Wallace, W. J. Weir, Dr. J. B. Jameson; women’s representatives, Mrs B. Scott and Miss F. Taylor (secretarx-treMurer).
