T.A.B. Chairman Appointed

SYDNEY, March 17
The New South Wales State Cabinet has appointed a 61-year-old public servant, Mr R. E. Garbutt, State Land Tax Commissioner, as chairman of the new Totalisator Agency Board. Mr Garbutt entered the State Public Service on March 5, 1923. He received just more than £4OOO a year as commissioner, and will receive an additional £lOOO a year salary, with £250 expenses, as T.A.B. chairman. /
