Leading Dancers To Marry
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, March 15. Two of Britain’s leading ballet dancers, Michael Somes and Antoinette Sibley, are to marry. Mr Somes, aged 46, is principal dancer with the Royal Ballet. Miss Sibley, aged 24, who also dances with the Royal Ballet, said last night that the wedding would take place at the end of the year. Mr Somes, the first dancer to be awarded the C.8.E., was previously married to the ballet dancer, Deirdre Dixon, who died in 1959.
A Soviet astronomer has discovered that the mass of hydrogen which lies between the stars of the Milky Way, the galaxy in which we live, has a different shape to that of the stars.
