Salt Harvest Begun

(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM, March 15. A start was made on the harvest at the Dominion salt works ponds at Grassmere on Friday, and on Saturday both the old and new equipments were brought into operation. The works engineer (Mr C. R. Ball) said he was not yet prepared to comment on the prospects of the harvest. Much depended on the weather over the next four or five weeks, he said.
