Take-over Bids For Newspaper

Sir, —A correspondent writes that he would like a choice of morning newspaper. He has expensive tastes. The community cost of a newspaper is much more than 3d —at tile very least because newspapers. like all enterprises, employ persons who have been educated and considerably maintained at the public expense.
