PUIUC NOTICES AIR SERVICES LICENSING AUTHORITY I—NOTICE1 —NOTICE is hereby given that on or after Monday, March 23. 1964. the Authority will, pursuant to Section 26 of toe Air Services Licensing Act 1951, consider an application bv the SOUTH PACIFIC AIRLINES OF NEW ZEALAND, LTD., c/o. Marshall. Page, Gibson and Sheat, Solicitors, P.O. Box 442, Wellington, for the amendment of Licence No. 282 to permit: (a) To add to the existing scheduled licence the route Hamilton-Rotorua-Whakatane-Napier and return with a minimum frequency of three (3) services per week.» (b) Eastern Route: AucklandHamilton - RotoruaMasterton - WellingtonChristchurch and return with a minimum frequency of three (3) services per week. (c) Auckland - HamiltonNew Plymouth-Nelson-Christchurch and return with a minimum frequency of three (3) services per week. (d) To curtail AucklandRotorua - Napier and Hamilton - Rotorua-Whakatane-Gisborne services for the period of two (2) years. Parliamentary Under-Secre-taries. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Chairmen of Committees. The Leader of the Opposition. Members of the House of Representatives. Any person desiring to make submissions relating to any or all of the above matters should forward four copies NOT LATER than Thursday, April 30, 1964, to the following address — The Secretary for the Royal Commission on.> Parliamentary Salaries and Allowances, Parliament House, WELLINGTON. The Commission will advise though the Secretary whether it requires the attendance for the purpose of giving further evidence of any person who has forwarded a submission. 3226 P.A.Y.E. DEDUCTIONS TAX CODE DECLARATIONS (I.R. 12) AND SECONDARY EMPLOYMENT NOTICES (I.R. 55) 1. Between now and April 1 salary and wage earners will be completing Tax- Code Declarations (I.R. 12) and Secondary Employment Notices (I.R. 55) for the P.A.Y.E. year April 1, 1964, to March 31, 1965. The forms may be obtained from Post Offices and Tax Offices and should be handed to employers by APRIL 1, 1964. Failure to supply either a Tax Code Declaration (I.R. 12), Special , Tax Code Certificate (I.R. 23, see paragraphs 2 and 3 below) or a Secondary Employment Notice (I.R. 55) to the employer at the proper time will result in deductions being made at the higher “NO DECLARATION” rate. 2. Persons who do not wish to disclose particulars of their dependants to their employers should apply to the nearest branch of the Inland Revenue Department for a Special Tax Code Certificate (I.R. 23). 3. Persons in secondary employment who find that their total weekly deductions from both primary and secondary employment would exceed the tax payable if the weekly income had all been derived from primary employment may accept the over-deduction ahd obtain an adjustment from the Inland Revenue Departent by furnishing a return after the end of the year or may apply to the Department for a Special Tax Code Certificate (I.R. 23) at the beginning of the year or before commencing the secondary employment. 4. Those taxpayers who would be subject to deductions from their income under th e Income Tax (Withholding Payments) Regulations, 1957, but who can satisfy the department that they are business taxpayers should apply to the nearest office of the Inland Revenue Department for a certificate of exemption (I.R. 118) unless they already hold a certificate which grants an exemption not limited In time.
