While such prohibition remains in force NO PERSON SHALL (except with the permission of the Foreman of the Board, Mr H. Hunt, Telephone 895, Rangitata), trap, shoot, or hunt or permit to be trapped shot or hunted whether with dogs or otherwise any rabbits or hares upon any land within the said District. Dated at Geraldine, March 12, 1964. 3292 HALSWELL COUNTY COUNCIL AMENDMENT TO COUNTY BY-LAWS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in exercise of the powers conferred on it by "The Counties Act, 1956,” and Amendments thereto, the HALSWELL COUNTY COUNCIL, at a Special Meeting held on Thursday, the 20th day of February, 1964. passed a Resolution by way of Special Order to amend Section 30 of the Halsweil County Council Bylaw, 1951, to increase the fees for the opening of roads as follows: (c) For crossing or opening any asphalted, sealed, concrete or bituminous road per chain or part thereof—£ls. (d) For opening any metal or gravel road per chain or part thereof—£7 10s. A copy of the Amendment to the By-law is deposited at the County Office, 381 Halsweil road, Christchurch, 3, and is open to the public during office hours until the 16th day of April, 1964. SUGDEN, Secretary. 3300 NEW ZEALAND SOCIETY OF ACCOUNTANTS AMENDMENT ACT, 1963 The provisions of this Act. which comes into force on April 1 next restrict the right to commence the public practice of accountancy under a designation including the term “accountant” to members of the Society or of a body recognised by toe New Zealand Society of Accountants. Provision is also made for persons so practising for a period of 12 months in the three years prior to the passing of the Act to obtain a licence from the Society to continue to do so under their present designation subject to their arranging a fidelity bond and to their observing toe Society's Rules and code of professional conduct. Persons who are not members of toe Society who are practising as accountants and who wish to obtain a licence to continue to do so under their present designation, are invited to communicate with toe Society as soon as possible to enable completion of toe necessary formalities at an early date.
