Storemen’s Union Officers
All seven members of the executive of the Canterbury Storemen’s and Warehousemen’s Union were re-elected in a postal ballot this week. They are Messrs R. A. Aldridge, C. E. Baldwin, C. W. Keenan, 1. Kelso, A. B. McCallum, R. A. Meyer and D. Preece.
In Lebanese nighitclubs a small bottle of arak with its accompanying fnezze costs as much as £l, twice as much in the shops.
