REPORTS OF FEUD
Kennedy And Johnson (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Mar. 12. The White House, seeking to mute talk of a political feud between President Johnson and the AttorneyGeneral, Mr Robert Kennedy, said yesterday that the two men see each other “from time to time on various matters.” The new furore over their relations came on the heels of a statement yesterday by Mr Kennedy that he would not remain in the Cabinet after November, but that he had not yet decided what he would do. President Johnson and Mr Kennedy are said to have first clashed in 1960 when the younger brother of the late President Kennedy opposed the choice of then Senator Johnson for the Democratic Party’s vice-pre-sidential nomination.
