Final Day Of Carnival Tile Riccarton High School’s queen carnival has already raised £lOOO towards the price of a gymnasium, and there is still the carnival fete to come today. Mr A. J. Gainsford, the headmaster, said that the target for the gymnasium was £4OOO. which would qualify for a two-to-one Government subsidy The gymnasium was expected to cost at least £ 12.000.
