Mannequin Parade.— Wives of delegates to the Chemists’ Service Guild conference attended a mannequin parade arranged by the Marjorie Baird School of Deportment, in the Palm Lounge. The compere was Mrs Irene Pablecheque. A sprig of rosemary was presented to each guest as she left after the function. Lincoln College Women.— Miss Mary Hopkirk spoke on her work as social development officer of the South Pacific Commission at a recent meeting of the Lincoln College Women’s Group. Miss Hopkirk showed exhibits of native handicrafts and slides of Samoa, Tonga, and the Cook Islands.
