White Parents Protest
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, March 12. Thousands of white parents today staged one of the largest protest demonstrations ever seen at the New York City Hall. They demonstrated in swirling snow for two hours and a half against plans to transfer pupils from schools to others nearby to balance enrolments racially. Some 15.000 persons marched, a few Negroes among them.
