PRESENTATION MADE

25 Years With W.D.F.F. A presentation was made to Mrs D. Christopher, an active member of the Amuri branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers for 25 years, at the annual meeting of the branch at Culverden recently. Mrs Christopher, who is leaving the district, would be greatly missed, not only by the division, but by members of the community, said Mrs M. Bethell (patroness), in making the presentation. The year had been a satisfactory one for the branch, said the president (Mrs F. R. Davidson) in her report Membership totalled 91. Officers elected were:—Patroness, Mrs M. Bethell; president, Mrs F. R. Davison; vicepresidents, Mesdames G. L. Johns, P. Davison, W. Jamieson; secretary, Mrs B. A. C. Hoban; treasurer, Mrs R. E. Hiatt; delegates to executive, president, secretary, Mesdames G. L. Johns and P. Davison; advisory members, Mesdames J. N. Boag and A. A Macfarlane; committee, Mesdames G. Mockett, C. Douglas, T. C. Robinson, H. Grigg and W. Grueber; auditor, Mr P. Sorenson.

R.S.A. Women.— At the recent monthly meeting of the women’s section of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association, artists who entertained were: Mesdames Nola Hamilton, Peggy Fleming and Anita Ledsham, who sang solos accompanied by Mrs J. Cocks; Miss Edna Neville, who gave recitations; and Mesdames Ledsham and C. Hunter, who gave sketches.
