Coles Chooses Stakes Mount
(NJ!. Press Assn.—Copyright) _ SYDNEY, March 12. The former New Zealand jockey. L. G. Coles, today picked Longwood as his mount in the £lO.OOO Golden Slipper Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday. After Coles’s decision the trainer. A Armanasso. engaged G. Moore for Star of Heaven. The trainer, J. Green, said today that the champion filly. Reveille, would miss the Golden Slipper. Reveille has strained an abdominal muscle but Green hopes she will be fit for the Champagne Stakes at Randwick on March 30.
