Commercial Union Profit Lower
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, Mar. 12. The profits of Commercial Union Assurance Company of Australia, Ltd, were lower in the six months to December last than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Interim dividend is steady at 3 per cent. Directors reported yesterday that premium income for the half-year was higher than in the same period of 1962-63, but underwriting surplus was lower.
