CONFERENCE IN CANADA

Three N.Z. Doctors To Speak Three representatives of the New Zealand council of the College of General Practitioners will speak to the International Conference of General Practice to be held in Montreal, Canada, at the end of the month. They are the chairman of the council (Dr. P. D. Delany, of Wellington), the secretary (Dr. R. P. Tuckey, of Wellington), and Dr. K. Simcock > (Auckland). The purposes of the conference are to draw up a charter for general practice, to discuss general practitioner training (including post-graduate training), and to define more clearly the role of the general practitioner. At least 23 countries will be represented at the conference. including several Communist countries.
