568 Points To 153 (Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, Feb. 17. The AU Blacks 36-3 win over the Barbarians gave them the biggest winning margin of the tour. It took their points to 568 and their tries to 111. Comparative figures against, are 153, and 22. The New Zealanders kicked 30 penalties, 47 conversions and a record number of dropped goals—l 7. Top points scorer was D. B. Clarke, with 136 from 18 penalties, 32 conversions, 5 dropped goals and a try. M. Herewini scored 75 from 10 penalties, 13 conversions, 5 dropped goals and a try. In only eight of the nineteen games he played was Herewini the first-string kicker—a remarkable performance. M. J. Dick’s 57 points came from 19 tries—just one less than A. H. Hart scored in 1924-25. R. W. Caulton followed with 14 tries, and then came the two loose forwards, K. R. Tremain and W. J. Nathan, with 9 each. D. B. Clarke played most games, 25, followed by W. J. Whineray (24), M. J. Dick and C. E. Meads (23), and A. J. Stew ~t (22). The All Blacks played 34 games for 32 wins, a loss and a draw.
