27 Unbeaten In Fours (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. February 14. The title-holder. Mrs C. Winstaniey, and her team from Marewa. Napier, were again in brilliant form today in the fours events at the New Zealand women’s bowls championship. They beat Mrs S. Arthur (Mission Bay). 27-14, in the morning and then defeated Mrs M. Johns (Te Atatu), 28-11 In the afternoon, to be one of 27 teams unbeaten with four wins after two days of section play. Two skips who cannot qualify are Mrs H. Harper (Buckland), who won the singles last Saturday, and the prominent Gisborne player, Mrs J. Sangwell. Those with four wins are. Mesdames Walker (Te Kauwhata). Moore (Mount Maunganui), Rosoman (Otakl), McConnell (Thames), Zuill (Otahuhu), Fitzpatrick (Transport, Auckland). Eandon (Patumahoe), Bainbridge (Rocky Nook. Auckland). Rowsell (Okalhaui, Cooper (Waiuku). Collins (Transport). Mack (Grey Lynn), Mortimer (Parnell), Mcßobie (Takapuna), Erceg (Whakatane), O’Connor (Mount Wellington), Mounce (Grey Lynn). Jenntngs and McFadden (Point Chevalier), Thomas (Waiwaka). Stephens (Hastings), McConchie (Rocky Nook), Wfnstanley (Marewa), White (Arawa), Head (Avondale), Small (Point Chevalier), Nicol (Mangakino).
