BIG ENTRY OF CATTLE
Jersey Show At Rangiora Today
About 200 entries have been received for the Canterbury Jersey cattle show which will be held at the Rangiora Show Grounds today. This is considerably higher than tlie number of Jersey entries in the Canterbury show in Christchurch last November where there were, only 122 entries. Fourteen breeders from all parts of Canterbury will have animals in today’s show They will be judged under rules laid down by the Royal Agricultural Society. The show is open to all pedigree Jerseys. There are 21 classes in the show and they will all be judged by Mr A- N. Jenkins.
Long Service.— To mark the completion of 35 years’ service with Beath and Company, Ltd., a gold watch was presented to Mr T. Stanley, a senior salesman in the menswear department, by Mr T. W. Perry, chairman of directors who thanked Mr Stanley for his long and loyal service.
