Passengers To Fiji (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 14. Air passengers booked from Auckland to Fiji tonight were the first here to suffer serious inconvenience as a result of the strike of Qantas pilots. The flight was to have been made by a Qantas Electra under charter to T.E.A.L. The return flight tomorrow morning was also concelled. Some of the travellers have found seats on tomorrow night’s T.E.A.L. service to Nandi, while others were accommodated in Pan American Airways and Canadian Pacific Airlines planes. It is not known how many passengers have been unable io make alternative arrangements. There is still sufficient accommodation available across the Tasman to meet the current passenger requirements. Flights cancelled tomorrow because of the strike are a morning inward one from Nandi, an afternoon flight from Sydney, outward flights to Brisbane and Sydney, as well as the Norfolk Island service.
