The revolutionary use of a . w type of glass-fibre in the construction of the remainder of the Liverpool Cathedral is expected, to slash building costs and speed the completion of the cathedral—perhaps by 1980, says the “Yorkshire Post.” The new material consists of organic resin reinforced with glass fibre and faced with a coating of resin and sand.
