’Quakes Felt In Wellington
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 13. Two earthquakes were felt today in Wellington. The first, at 6.42 a.m., ■ was centred 40 miles from Wellington and was of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter Scale. The second, at 8.40 a.m., was centred- 115 miles from Wellington and was of magnitude 4.4 on the Richiter Scale. The director of the Seismological Observatory (Dr. F. F. Evison) said he had no reports of any damage.
