74 UNBEATEN IN WOMEN’S TITLES
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 13. Seventy-four of the 264 teams were unbeaten in their first two matches cf the New Zealand women’s bowls fours championship which started in Auckland today. Another 11 teams finished the day with one win each. The title-h -Ider. Mrs S. Winstanley (Marewa), remained unbeaten. Further qualifying games will be played tomorrow and, Saturday, two each day Teams with four or more wins will qualify for postsection play, wHfth will begin on Monday.
