McLaughlin. the vendor, and Mr Connor, the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Road Transport Alliance. On the recommendation of Mr D. R. Murray, representing the Commissioner of Transport, the Authority granted an application for revocation of the continuous goods-service licence of Shingle Supplies, Ltd., which is going into liquidation, and the continuous goods-service licence of the Tilbury Forwarding Company, Ltd., which has disposed of its business. The Authority also granted an application by McFarlane Freighters, Ltd., for deletion of the description of class goods described in a continuous goods-service licence held by the firm as “consigned to or by the McFarlane Trading Company, Ltd., Christchurch.” This amendment will allow the applicant firm to transport bananas and oranges from Lyttelton to fruit markets other than that of the parent company.
