CHANGES IN SELECTORS
Robertson On League Panel (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 14. A former Kiwi full-back, Mr D. White, has been replaced by Mr M. Robertson on the New Zealand Rugby League selection panel. The national secretary (Mr E. Knowling) today announced that the panel for this season will be Messrs W. T. Telford (convener), T. McKenzie and Robertson. Mr White, who narrowly beat Mr Robertson for the Auckland nomination to the New Zealand panel, had been a national selector for two seasons as well as a coach of the Kiwis. Waikato’s delegate to the council, Mr W. O’Callaghan, has been appointed convener of the North Island trio. He will have with him Messrs M. Church (Wellington) and Robertson. Mr E. Butts (Canterbury) and Mr A. O’Donnell (West Coast) will form the South Island panel, with Mr McKenzie as arbiter if required.
