ROYAL VISIT IN FEBRUARY
Local Decision On Time Off (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 14. The amount of time off to be given to employees during the visit of the Queen Mother next month should be decided locally, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoa’-e) said today. He asked mayors and chairmen of local authorities in the area to be visited to suggest that businesses close down long enough for people to join in welcoming the Queen Mother. Government offices would conform with local closing araingements.
