Smash And Grab Thief Caught
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, January 14. A man grabbed a handful of diamond rings after using a. stool from a nearby bar to smash a display window in Claries, a Cameron street jewellers, about 11.30 a.m. today. Bystanders gave chase and caught the man, who was later arrested.
