MAN FOUND IN BUSH

(N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON, Dec. 16.

A four-strong rescue party this morning found Ronald Cormack, a Marine Department research worker, who had been missing in the Tararuas since Saturday. Mr Cormack, aged about 37, of Wellington, is fit and well.

He was found at Flat Creak, off the Ruamahanga river.

Mr Cormack was doing research work in rivers in the upper Waingawa headwaters. Four men searched the area yesterday. Mr Cormack failed to keep a rendezvous on Saturday with Graham Blithe, technical officer w’ith the Wellington Acclimatisation Society. Messrs Blithe and Cormack entered the bush last Monday and separated on Friday •evening. Mr Cormack was well equipped, and there were no fears for his safety.
