African School Of Archeology

(A’.Z.P.A.-Reuter) JOS, (Northern Nigeria) Twenty students from 11 African countries are attending a nine-month training course in archaeology at the Museum Technical Training School here. They are expected to go to Oxford University at the end of their course to work for degrees. The students come from the Cameroon, Chad, Congo (Leopoldville). Ghana. Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo and Uganda. More students from other African countries are expected at the school, believed to be the first of its kmd in the world.
