TAKING OWN DOCTOR
Olympic Team Proposal (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Nov. 10. A doctor may be selected to travel to Tokyo with next year’s New Zealand Olympic Games team. This was indicated at a meeting of the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association’s executive tonight following a recommendation from the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association. This association proposed that all future teams include a registered medical practitioner. Most delegates supported the proposal, particularly in view of language difficulties experienced in the past. The suggestion was supported in principle and a final decision will be made next year when it is known how many athletes will be making the trip.
