Grafted Tomatoes
In an effort to reduce disease and increase yield in glass house tomatoes, trials at Levin with grafted tomatoes proved successful though time-consuming. The method has been adopted in Denmark, the Netherlands and in parts of Britain. Seed of this resistant rootstock is not yet available in New Zealand.
