PARCELS IN EGYPT
Authority To Open CAIRO. The security office of the Customs Department has issued strict instructions for a thorough examination of parcels coming from abroad to people holding key positions in the United Arab publicParcels are not to be delivered unless the name of the sender and the contents are clearly mentioned on the parcel. A suspect parcel may be opened. A few months ago it was announced that some parcels received by German scientists working in Cairo exploded when they were opened. —- Reuter.
