"Ths, Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL, Nov. 14. The Southland Racing Club will break with New Zealand racing tradition at its meeting on Saturday. November 23. and Wednesday, November 27, by increasing the price of race books to 2s. For as many years as most people can remember, the price has been Is. By increasing the price to 2s the Southland club will print a much more informative book. The "new look” book will include pictures of finishes at recent meetings and will also include a form guide. “The new book is in the nature of an experiment to get the feeling of the public." the assistant secretary of the club, Mr R. J. Cuthill, said today. “I feel that if it is a success, other clubs will undoubtedly follow suit’’
