C.0.R.5.0. IN ASIA

IV.Z. Reputation “Enhanced” C.0.R.5.0. had probably done more tn enhance New Zealand's reputation in Asia than anything else he knew of, said an Auckland schoolteacher, Mr D. Finnegan, who recently returned from an extensive tour of Asian countries on a Rotary Foundation Fellowship. Speaking recently to the Te Awamutu Rotary Club about his trip, Mr Finnegan said that whenever he was introduced in Hong Kong, Manila, Thailand, or India almost invariably someone would say: “Then you must know about C.0.R.5.0.” Time and again he had heard the expressions, “Our sisters and brothers in New Zealand.’’ “C.0H.5.0. is something which has reached out to the common people in these countries," said Mr Finnegan. “They look on us in New Zealand as their sisters and brothers because we have made, through C.0.R.5.0., the gesture of giving what we do not need to those who are in need.”
