Vary Centre Of Control (N.Z. Prase Association) WELLINGTON. Nov. 1A The Wellington Lstzn Tennis Association will strongly oppose a move by North Shore. Auckland, to rotate the centre of national tennis administration every five years among those associations which stage the national championships. This wag resolved unanimously at tonight's meeting of the management committee. The chairman, Mr J. R. Bentley, said: . “It is obviously another move against the present New Zealand management committee. It's been going 'on for years now, and it's time the sniping at New Zealand headquarters was stopped." Mr B. E Souter described the scheme as “the most cockeyed approach I have ever heard of.” Many delegates spoke strongly on the "absurdity and impracticability” of the proposal. The association intends to ask Canterbury what its thoughta are on the matter.
