Excellent fields and good racing marked the opening of the Christchurch cycling season at English Park on Wednesday evening. K. Brown, who has had a year of racing ir, Australia, showed that his visit overseas had been beneficial and he appeared a better rider than when he raced here two seasons ago. A.
