Big Trout Caught
While fishing in Lake Ohau recently, Mr G. Collett, of Waimate, landed a- 141 b brown trout. He caught the fish on an 81b line using a black wobbler. The trout’s measurements were: weight, 141 b: length. 33’in; girth, 18in; width of tail, Bin: jaw span, open, sin. The fish jumped once and made several long runs, one of nearly 200 yards, during more than half an hour before being landed.— (F.0.0.R.)
