Algaion carried 7-7 to win the Ben-' digo Cup yesterday, and is a certain starter on Saturday. Because of the Bendigo win, Algalon is prominent in Sandown Cup betting-. The favourite is the Sydney Cup winner, Grand Print. Other New Zealand horses engaged or) Saturday are. My Contact, Conference, and Straight Irish.
