NEW BAPTIST MINISTER
Induction At Wainoni The new minister for the Wainoni and North Brighton Baptist circuit, the Rev. D. C. Hopkins, and his family, have moved into the manse designed by the previous minister, the Rev. R. M. Upton, now of Waiki. Mr Hopkins will be inducted a< a special service at the Wainoni church on Saturday. The circuit, which is unusual in that it contains two churches, has been without a minister for nearly a year. Designed to suit the needs of a minister, the manse has a detached study and garage block to allow undisturbed working. A speaker representing other denominations in the Walnoni-North Brighton area, and a representative of the Baptist ministers' fraternal of Canterbury will be among speakers at the service to be held immediately after the induction service. Oflier speakers will include representatives of women's groups in the circuit and officers of the church. The induction will be performed by the Rev. A. McLeod (Oxford Terrace Church) and the chairman will be the Rev. A. Hodges (Linwood Avenue Church).
