VANDALS IN SCHOOL
Classrooms In Disorder
(IV.Z. Prest Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 13. The 440-pupil Cornwall Park District School was closed today by the headmaster and school committee because of damage committed by vandals last night. Classrooms were left in disorder. Obscenities were scrawled on blackboards. The headmaster’s study was wrecked and goldfish in one room were left dead and mutilated. "It looks as if a hurricane struck—-except for the human filth," was one police comment. The damage cannot yet be totalled. The only part of the school not to suffer was the dental clinic.
