Bronze medal for rock garden: Canterbury Alpine Society. Bronze medal for display of irises: Christchurch Iris Circle. Award of merit for herbs: Mrs A. HilL Award of merit for irises: P. J. Moore. Award of merit for shrubs: R. A. Duncan Nurseries, New Plymouth. Certificate for clematis: A. Keay.
