DISCUSSIONS FAIL
T.E.A.L Pilots, Management (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 13. As negotiations with the management of Tasman Empire Airways had failed, the Airline Piloi’ Association intended to take its dispute to tiie T.E.A.L. board of directors, Captain J. W. Dickinson. secretary of the association, said tonight. Although they had met last Wednesday, last Thursday, yesterday and today, the parties had failed to reach complete agreement on all matters "We hope the board will meet us at any early date in an endeavour to arrive at a mutually satisfactory settlement and thus prevent a further deterioration in the present position,” said Captain Dickinson. The three major matters in dispute are a separate industrial agreement for TE.A.L. pilots and navigators, alteration to T.E.A.L.’s retirement age policy and adjustments to the superannuation scheme.
